"I want to say thank you to my host family for taking care of me for 15 months. I made so many friends through them. I want to thank them for taking me on so many trips and for going camping together. I enjoyed them very much! I also want to thank them for taking me out on my birthday and for coming to my graduation. They helped me when I needed helping and I want to thank them for everything. Because of them the days I stayed in the UK were wonderful!"

"I just wanted to thank you for helping me finding a homestay. My time in Swansea was blessed and being in the right homestay contributed hugely to it!"

"Studying abroad/exchange programs is one of the best opportunities a student can have during their university experience, let me say, I have tried it myself. However nothing can be experienced fully unless you are submerged in the culture. How? The solution: host families. I grew up with exchange students in my home, aspiring it would be my turn one day. Living with a host family has the benefit feeling at home while being socially immersed in their lives. When you leave, you can finally see the benefits of your decision: improved language skills, independence, seeing the differences between your cultures and finally the commonalities you share that inevitably form an international friendship.
